Sometimes I think of the moral ramifications of Caboose brainwashing Epsilon into a Copy of Church.
That Caboose has some idea and near awareness of what he's doing.

And YES I do now that Epsilon is a copy of Alpha. That's not the point. The point is Epsilon did not have Alpha's memories. Everything he has is from a falsified story of friendship he had with Caboose. That Epsilon is the only fragment that has Alpha Church's personality in its near entirety.

That Caboose was so desperate for Church to love him he ruined Alpha and Tucker's friendship deliberately by leaving out Tucker in his entirety.

And please understand. I love Caboose precisely for this morally complex reasoning. He's so much deeper a character when you look at his actions. What they say and why they say it.

I find it utterly fascinating that Caboose is this morally grey individual so hurt over losing Alpha that he'd take another person. Or well an AI but you get my spiel. And turn them into who Caboose wanted him to be.

Its in this way.. I kind of think Caboose and the Director have alot more in common then the fandom will ever want to admit. In the Sense of.. recreating a loved one from a memory.

Would Epsilon of been different? That is RvB's biggest mystery.

and truth. For better or Worse in the change Caboose did in Epsilon. If not for Caboose. Epsilon would of been stuck in an evidence locker. Which .. is not a fate I'd wish on any AI.
